Diamond and Sapphire Engagement Ring
![]()
This ring was set for clients in Arizona. He had inherited a beautiful 1.5 carat heirloom stone that needed to be set into an engagement ring. I had a short phone call with both the engager and the engagee, and after determining some of her favorite colors and a style preference, I set to work gathering photographs of different options and prices and collaborating over e-mail. We settled on the idea of two trillions on either side of the center stone, and while I was waiting for the center stone to arrive, I started work having craftsmen assemble the setting and set the stones.
They Fedex’d the diamond to me on Saturday, and I had it by Monday. By Tuesday night, the finished ring was in Arizona, ready to be worn!
Judging by the pictures, I think she likes it…
